Sovereign Hill @ Ballarat
10 September 2011
Stepping into the past…
Wall of fame.
Didn’t knew dressing up can be that fun!
The Hills are alive…with the sound of music.
Lalalala….
Weiding in his Charlie chopin-look alike costume.
Willy Wonka OR Charlie Choplin?
Back in those olden days.
Anyway, I was wrongly accused as the horse thief who was also charged for furious riding.
Oh well, my name was spelt with an extra “e”
So I guess I got away with that.
“Eat that posion apply,Snow White!”
“Raindrops on roses and bright coloured candies
These are the few of my favourite things.”
So, after the photo-taking, we went for a short shopping spree.
There were just so many things to do at Sovereign Hill! We spend about 4 or 5 hours but I felt that it wasn’t enough for me!
After visiting the candy store, we walked right into a toy shop where they sell tradition toys that we used to play as a kid.
Remember one of these percussion instrument we used to play in primary school?
Click click click.
It’s almost non-existent now.
That’s Samantha with her batik-style scarf.
Catch the parade !
Boom Boom Pow.
This is a great place for kids
Where they get to soak into all the excitement in this place.
Hmm…no wonder I love this place too.
Am I still a kid?
These exquisite and elegant bottles were used to store perfumes.
So Pretty
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There’s a land that I’ve heard of
Once in a lullaby.
Check my video on youtube to watch children making candles.
Real Gold in my hands! I joked that I could use it everyday as a dumb bell. Not bad, eh?
The whole Melbourne trip ends with a perfect drop of gold.
And may we ,bloggers live happily ever after.
The End.
