It turned out that I’m still the usual “Idealist“, having a INFP personality. If you haven’t heard of this test, please read about it and attempt the test. Because I can tell you that this is by far, one of the most accurate and comprehensive personality test covering 16 different personality types. Though some may argue that you can’t possibly categorize people into 16 different categories, but the truth is, you can! Having spend a quarter century meeting people of different ages from various walks of life, I am certain that there are people do come in a sort of a fix pattern. If you are of a personality type A, more or less you will have a certain set of characteristics. And you don’t have to wait till you reach a hundred years old to notice this predictable phenomenon in us humans.

So if I’m categorized as an INFP who is an introvert by nature and an highly intuitive individual who thinks and perceives the world with the heart, to what degree is this true of me? After reading all the articles about the personality traits of INFP, I would give myself a score of 8 out of 10. While reading and browsing web pages on this personality type, I just couldn’t help but to nod my head to almost every sentences describing about INFP personality. In particular, the career and love speculations for INFP have been really explicit in describing my behaviour and thoughts.

I was totally intrigued by this love compatibility factor which they have included in the analysis of an INFP personality but I do not I have ever mixed with any males who belongs to the ENFJ category. So I did a quick Google search to look for people with ENFJ personality and guess what I have found? Nelson Mandela, John Paul II, Martin Luther King…
And when I start to believe in those sentences that reflects the inner me, I felt a little more confident about managing my emotions as I try to be a little less hard on myself. Don’t be too quick to call me superstitious and naive because I’m afterall, a person who decides based on feelings, remember? As an adult, I could think rationally if I want to but it would be a crime to go against the forces of nature. That’s right, baby, ‘cos I was born this way.
Be brave and bold, take the personality test to figure yourself out. The 72 questions in the questionnaire should be sufficient to drill you to reveal the real you. If, of course, you are honest with yourself.
