Pearlie White is no stranger to me. It’s one of our very own local brand of whitening toothpaste to brighten up our smiles each morning. Their latest addition to its family of products is The Real Red, an anti-cavity fluoride toothpaste. It is the most affordable product in Pearlie White’s range of products. For S$3.95, you get a tube of high-quality and Singapore-manufactured toothpaste that bears our logo, a red lion head symbol. It makes a perfect souvenir for any tourists to bring a piece of Singapore back to their country. I received a tube of The Real Red and a Pearlie White toothbrush with my name stamped on it.
The Real Red contains no harsh chemical ingredients like sodium lauryl sulphate, saccharin, parabens, triclosan or artificial colouring.
• Contains Sodium Bicarbonate that helps remove tooth stains as you brush.
• Contains Fluoride and Xylitol, which help prevent tooth decay and strengthen tooth enamel
• Contains CPC that helps fight plaque forming bacteria

Verdict: Before trying out The Real Red, I’ve also tried Pearlie White’s Active Remineralization Toothpaste (A.R.T). I actually prefer this toothpaste variant, The Real Red as compared to their toothpaste as it really cleanse the teeth and gums well. The A.R.T is gentler but it doesn’t have that squeaky clean feel. The Real Red, on the hand, has a stronger mint taste and the refreshing feel lingers in my mouth for a longer time.
