It does seems like the next best option is to make your own salad dressing at home. You wouldn’t believe how easy it is to make your own salad dressing from scratch. All you will need is 3 ingredients and a blender.
Strawberry Citrus Salad Dressing
Preparation time: 3 minutes
Servings: 2-3
Ingredients
8 Strawberries
3 Medjool Dates (pitted)
4 tablespoons of fresh lime juice
Steps
Blend the strawberries, medjool dates and lime juice together til you achieve an even consistency. Add some water into the blender if the dressing is too thick. Drizzle the dressing over your favourite bowl of garden salad and enjoy!
Notice that there are some green specks in the dressing? That’s because I blend the strawberries with the leaves attached to it. Who says you can’t eat the leaves from the strawberry plant? That’s added chlorophyll for you to take in as you savour the strawberries.
Eating healthy is quite a challenging task for me this year with my increase workload. And I need to admit that I haven’t been eating mindfully for since the first day of 2014. Hopefully, I am able to hold on the reins and control my horses!
