After listening to Leroy Sanchez’s cover version of Tori Kelly’s Dear No One, I was so tune into the song that I decided I should do a cover on it. The lyrics spoke so much of how I am feeling right at this moment. I can’t believe that Tori Kelly could write this song at such a young tender age. I was definitely more inspired to write my own songs. Covering other singer’s song felt different because you had to sing according to their own style and expression. I figured that’s why real musicians prefer to sing their own songs.
